I believe in writing a new story—starring new and even old characters. I do not believe in, however, the ability to successfully rewrite an old story with its identical previous energy and personality. It would be missing heart; it would be missing vigor. To repaint a past could make one delusional. To write a new story and look forward is more than inspirational.
